​Meet REMBERTO JIMENEZ

Remberto "Rem" Jimenez is a 20 year veteran in the educational technology space, a Doctoral student in the Educational Technology Leadership Program at NJCU, a Corporate Trainer, e-learning developer, and adjunct instructor.  His passion is in understanding how learning is facilitated and supported via the use of computer mediated technologies.  Therefore, he spends much of his time considering the design of learning and how to improve existing designs to support the dynamic needs of learners.

Education:

- BA in Mathematics from New Jersey         City University

- MA in Educational Communications         and Technology from New York               University

- Post MA Certificate in Educational             Technology from New York University

    Research Interests include:

- Online Learning Environments

- Action Learning

- Social Constructivism

​Meet RICHARD COTTONE

Richard Cottone is the Video Production/Computer Applications teacher at Wassom Middle School, Fort Campbell, KY, where he has been employed by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) since 2008. He earned a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a M.A.Ed. in Instructional Technology, both from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. As a classroom instructor, Mr. Cottone continually strives to integrate problem based activities into his curriculum to provide students with authentic ways of learning through hands on, cross-curricular, self-guided projects that keep learners actively engaged. As a lifetime learner, Richard is continually seeking ways to develop and improve his own teaching through the merging of technology and best practices. He is currently pursuing the Educational Technology Leadership Doctorate through New Jersey City University.
