Coding

This presentation focuses on the benefits of learning to code and will provide practical lessons on how coding works and its many applications in education. Knowing how to code increases student’s conceptual understanding of algorithm, problem solving and critical thinking. Coding empowers us to do many things that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to do. For example, it can help us build websites, or if you are an educator it can provide you with a valuable tool to help students engage in STEM related subjects. Learning how to code can help us understand our constantly changing technology rich environment.
